Pyridines
Our firm was the first, in 1964, to succeed in developing pyridines in Japan, and the third in the world to industrialize production of pyridines using gas-phase reactions.
We manufacture pyridines, picolines (methyl pyridines), lutidines (dimethylpyridines), and pyridin derivatives that make use of the above.
Pyridines are widely produced worldwide not only as a raw material for agrochemicals, but to meet growing demand as a pharmaceutical intermediate.

Pyrazines
We brought to market cyanopyrazine in 1985 as a raw material for pyrazinamide, a drug used to treat tuberculosis. Until our firm began providing proprietary gas-phase reaction processes, cyanopyridine required multi-steps reactions to produce. This new shift allowed for producing it in just two steps.
Since bringing it to market, we have enjoyed the support of pharmaceutical manufacturers and continue to contribute to the stable supply of tuberculosis drugs the world over.
